I don't think so. I use a automotive primer and make a underlayer of acrylic paint and sometimes with enamel.
Everything works when i start painting with my oils.
So my conclusion is when you prime with acrylic or enamel, its gonna end the same as underpaint with them.

I've never used lacquer primer (didn't even realise it existed). I use both enamel and acrylic auto primer.
No preference just whatever comes to hand and have never had any problems. Just make sure you prepare the model properly, particularly a good wash to get rid of any release agent.

I use automotive primers, Tamiya's surface primer, or Army Painter matte black, whether the top coats will be oils, enamels, or acrylics. All three primers work well to provide "tooth" for the top coats. The only caution I can think of is to make sure the primer is cured before starting applying colors on top of it. And as Del mentioned, make sure the piece is cleaned well. I use a couple drops of the automotive de-greaser SuperClean in a pan of warm water to wash a figure or a kit, whether resin, metal or styrene.

Hope that helps, prosit!
