I have bought some years ago the figure, which you can see on the photo. Was sold (I think many, many years ago) from Bonapartes. Code could be BIB7. I can found no information about the figure and because I want to paint it I want to know what tribe it should be.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Btw. I have found some pictures about Mescalero. Could it be the right ones?

There are so many overlaps of the costume worn by neighbouring first people nations of the US due to trade,
that it can be sometimes awkward to say 'that can only be.....'

In looking at his headwear I thought he would be a Sauk warrior, who are often depicted in such decorated 'hats'

If no-one knows the exact model, or if you want variations on the theme, please try this website.

In posting this picture I am mindful of their sites' request not to fileshare outside of this thread there are many pics to download there for personal reference.
I hope this is of some help.
I would love to paint that figure, I have never seen it before and don't know why

Hi Paul. Thanks and I will have a look there. I don´t know how old the figure is. I have some from Pete Barnacle Studios too and some very old busts. I search on shows and sometimes I found something

I'll be surprised if someone doesn't know what it was designed and sculpted as Ulrich.
Keep searching at shows there's some treasures out there.
Paul
