R/89: RUSSIAN CUIRASSIER, 1805 (ALEXANDROS MODELS)

That is one very nice bust and something Napoleonic that is not British or French for a change.

Beautiful, but for some reason there are mistakes in sculpture, as well as in painting.

- this bust is painted not as an ordinary cuirassier, but as an officer of the Chevalier Guard Regiment;
- all metal must be white (silver), including Guards buttonholes and embroidery, as well as buttons on the overcoat;
- the collar of the overcoat should be black;
- officer's belt of a cartridge bag was embroidered with silver;
- the belt to the cartridge bag was attached through the rings on the sides of the bag and sewn on the back of the narrow strap;


- lanyard of black leather, sewed with a silver thread along the edge, with a silver brush on the end with an admixture of black and orange threads;


- the chin strap should be made of black leather;
- gloves should be white.
