WIP RAF anniversary.

Made a start on these recent acquisitions from Steve Warrilow’s Fusilier range which I had managed to pick up at the White Rose Christmas bash. I’m a big fan of Steve’s figures and my first introduction to WW1 figures was through his white metal kits in the 90’s. My only previous venture into trying to tackle the RAF blue uniform resulted in something more akin to a dark denim colour so it’s thanks to the members on here for providing some potential paint combos to recreate something nearer the colour I was looking for. The RFC pilot will be holding part of a tail plane from his latest “victim” but as yet I’m undecided on the colour to use for that. I was toying with the idea of trying to replicate the multi coloured lozenge pattern but not sure I’d be able to realistically pull it off. Does anyone know if there are any decal sheets of this camouflage type available for this scale?

Aviattic do a range of 1/24 scale lozenge decals. I believe this figure is 8omm, so they would be a little under scale, but should still look the part.
