wow not cheap to start with !!!!!! and it was free !!!!..........Stu
Sometimes a similar concern the other way around would be nice, but there is little understanding of selling a figure cheap that was expensive to buy. No offense meant :)
I find it's OK, if someone thinks it's too expensive, then you just don't bid ;) I have it on my "Watch list" and will see what happens :sneaky:

A while back, I put a figure on E-bay that was given to exhibitors at the MMSI Show(started at $25.00). I received a message from someone (no name on profile) saying I was putting a figure for sale that was free???!!!
My reply was thus: I drove 990 miles each way to attend the Show, stayed 2 nights at the Show hotel so the club would get room credits even though I have family in the area, and paid an exhibitors fee. What did you do that weekend?

This is a stunning figure by a great sculptor and as hard to find as the one released by ACMS of Don Pantaleon De Nenin Hussars De Maria Louisa in an edition of 150. in 2008. I was offered that on PF for 75 Euros a while ago but was lucky enough to pick one up on Ebay for £15 very shortly after.
I raise this to make the point that something is worth what someone is willing to pay. If I were selling mine I would put a similar starting price......I didn't see anyone griping about the 75mm Roll call freebies being offered on here a while ago, what the seller pays originally for an item is a complete irrelevance! I recently sold a kit for £320 that I paid £47 for originally-two people wanted it and one won-that's what auctions are all about...............good luck with the sale Edward, as you say the starting price is on a par with a Pegaso 54mm (y) , but I would have loved to see a painted version from you:)
