Hi, a friend that bought this item from me is selling it now again. It's wonderful kit, it's rare and oop for a long time now. It's the 65mm mounted lancer from the battle of Aliwal produced by D.F.Grieve in white metal ,in his original old tan coloured box and instructions. It's not bonapartes kit or any other recast by other company The price is 100.00 Euros + shipping worldwide.I accept only Paypal.PM me if you need any more info about the kit or shipping cost to your country.
In the photo below is the figure painted by the great Derek Hansen.Thanks.

This is a great piece.
Just to clarify Bonapartes are exactly the same figure taken direct from the master and therefore not a recast.
Good luck with the sale

Hi, yes i know that, when i say recast i didn't mean in the bad way(like chinese Copy) i mean that this is not product by other company in resin or Metal like Bonapartes, Debra Raymont etc.Thank you anyway.

No worries Chris, I didn't mean anything bad either , good luck as the original David grieve pieces are collectible.
I track them down still despite having the masters , nostalgia :)
Best wishes

I know what you mean Graham, I've got most of them and when I take them out of the box and look at the beautifully cleaned casting I think to myself shame to put paint on that, it goes back in the box...are we mad or what?

Hi, I have several DG figures, 2 made and painted and a few not as I stopped painting some 20 plus years ago, 1 of which is the Lancer. Having returned to the hobby in my mid 50s :) I plan to do these figures at a later date, I am relearning on some excellent resin figure from Mitches Military Models .
