Learn
artistic anatomy and how to draw the figure from like the old masters

Artistic Anatomy Lectures

rey-sales-thumb-anat.jpg
Ten Artistic Anatomy lectures delivered every 7 days. There are twelve anatomy lectures that cover everything from the pelvis, to the muscles of the lower leg to the anatomy of the face. These lectures are done on the blackboard with Rey's amazing chalk technique.

Master Drawing Lectures

rey-sales-thumb-masters.jpg
Ten Master Drawing lectures delivered along side the Artistic Anatomy lectures every 7 days. Each lecture documents Rey re-creating a master drawing and talking you through the entire approach. One of the key elements here is that Rey is not "copying" the drawing. He is re-creating and making artistic decisions along the way.

Crits Every 2 Weeks

Bi-monthly Crits where Rey Bustos will be online to give you feedback on your drawingsand answer questions that our support staff has been unable to answer.
Special ZBrush Content For Digital Sculptors

Animal Anatomy Lectures

The course includes Rey's Comparative Anatomy Overview where he gives an overview of how you can take your human anatomy and translate that into animal anatomy.

Special Bonus: 3D Old Master Re-Creations

For the digital sculptors out there the class comes with a library of five full body 3D scans of LA art model Michael Tam Wood reenacting scenes from Ruben's Drawings. These can be used to sculpt from and to build on your understanding of human form in motion.

Hello Ryan. I sat in on Scott Hartman's creature design webinar. Excellent stuff just in that - I learned one or two things. The only problem is I don't know if I'll ever have the kind of spare change needed for it, let alone Rey's...
(Or David Krentz's, for that matter! Scott Hartman or David Krentz. It's like Sophie's Choice.)

Best wishes for the classes, anyway.
