The only limit I can see with this, will be the base.
With the length of the lance, I'm thinking candlestick rather than column base !

I know what you mean Paul. The point of the lance is 45mm below the base of the bust. I think the lances were about 9feet in length.

The fragility/vulnerability of the lance concerned me when I first saw this, so it's nice to know that brass rod is supplied.

Now ......seeing as how I've got 4 candlesticks.
