Nice work. The figure laks a bit of contrast.
He looks pale and in my opinion the shadows can be much darker painted.
The tale of the plane is outstanding.
Thanks Marc. The figure is just painted with airbrush , basic shadows and lights only. Now I start painting with brush, using washes etc. It should get more contrast.
Hello Pekka:
Very nice photograph, by the by. I'm aware that many
figure painters do the base colours using an airgun. And
as I thought about that looking at your figure, I decided to
ask the following question. What do you use to mask off,
one colour from another. I'm guessing it isn't tape. An
Eberhart Faber kneaded eraser? Sorry I spelled the
company name wrong.
Thanks. I'm using a Canon G 10 and the lamps I use for painting.
Iwata HP-CS was used for airbrushing.
And actually I'm using tape for masking. Tamiya makes a very good product that has just the right amount of tack; https://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=87063
Post-it notes are also very useful.

Some progress. I've tried to get more contrast and depth. Also made some damage, wear and tear to the rudder. Not sure if it's ruined...still two weeks until Euromilitaire, plenty to do. Comments welcome.
