I have made a figure from "Reedees Miniatures" scale 1/16
The first time I have made this with water,I used still water from AK ,also
for the water effects on the helmet and hands,I struggle a lot with it and I hope it's a bit nice,I try to do my best, also I used real algae from the pond

The figure looks wet and dirty because he is in the water,

Thank you very much to watch and take your time

Mario

He looks great, very nicely done, the water effects have worked really well.

I prefer the colouration on yours to the box art, yours looks wet and fits the scene displayed which the original does not. The only thing I would look at again is the wet area on his right sleeve above the wrist which would not be shiny, cotton drill uniforms do go dark like that but do not reflect when wet like the helmet does.

Hi Rob,
Thank you for looking and the comment,do you mean the arm where the rifle is please???? that it's to shiny there
because I gonna change that this evening then,It must be good,so that is why I ask it to be sure, thanks for the advice
that's why we are here to learn more (y)

Yes, on your pictures 3 & 6 his sleeve from wrist to elbow is shining. The darker colour is perfect just need to matt off the reflection.
His helmet and chest pack and his skin would still shine like they do as they all repel water to some degree and it remains on the surface to reflect light. The cotton fabric of his uniform absorbs water so it won't shine, just goes darker coloured.

Agree with the others, great piece of work. You pulled off the water look quite well. Not easy to get that to look right.

Hi Mario

Bit late on this , do like this from Steve @ Reedees , you have done a good finish on him , the painting of the basework/ water , adding the seaweed works well

Nice painting of the equipment as well
