Alex and Mike, thank you for the kind words. The ribbon over the right pocket is a USMC Unit Commendation. The medal on the left is the USMC Good Conduct Medal. The one on the right is the National Defense Service Medal.

It is apparent that you have not been in the figure hobby long or do not visit other forums where this bust has been posted. It has received positive comments in all forums posted. There for this leads me to believe your post I have quoted above is purely to cause trouble and has no basis or merit.

You are of course as others have said entitled to your thoughts , but these are not constructive whatsoever ...can you justify them ...have you actually held the model ? Whats wrong with this one, I have several from Nick for reviews and the quality is great together with the subjects .
So come on stop trying to moan about something without justifying your comments ..why not buy and paint it up and then put on PF ?

sorry to all it just looks to much like popeye and a marine with only 2 medals.......c,mon they get them for passing out on basic at that rank he would have at least 5 or 6 also the ears are to big (to me) and the hats a bad fit

I respectfully disagree about the observations of the figure.
I am steering clear of the medals, I am not qualified to comment on that.

As for the ears and hat to head fit, it seems right.

Kiefer Sutherland played a role in the movie 'A few good men' and had his hair in a buzzcut.

His ears stick out, compared to the later shot of him in more recent times. so a Marine with that style of cut (I had one close to it for a while) does make the ears 'stick out' . Anatomically, ears do stick out, hair is normally worn longer then 5'o'clock shadow length.

As a dress hat, I think it does sit correctly on the head (high and proud), rather then head gear for field work, which seem to be usually worn down low.

My observations, for what its worth.

Hat looks fine, ears look fine, and three awards for an E-4 is also fine. I take it you were never in the United States Marine Corps.......
