Greetings friends,

I am currently doing some research on Boudicca the Cetic Queen. I am thinking of painting a figure of her (once I get my hands on one). Can anybody out there provide me with any information, web sites, links etc etc which will provide me with detailed information on her. I would appreciate getting historical background as well as weapons/uniform etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
Franco

Good morning,

For all that has been written about the warrior-queen of the Iceni, there are but two sources: Tacitus and Dio Cassius.

There are loads of sites on the Web regarding the person of Boudicca/Boadicea, and the events of 60-61 AD. That's the easy part; deciding on what is credible and what isn't can get a little trickier.

Good luck. . . and enjoy!

Augie

I noticed in looking over Stormtroopers line of figures, that they have a figure of Boudicci. I cannot provide any further details on the kit, but my experience with the line of figures from Stormtroopers has been very positive. Maybe some one else can add some details on the kit from Stormtroopers on the Warrior Queen from Iceni. This is not my period of expertise, but check out Stormtroopers.

Dear Augie, A;lexandre & Terry,

Thank you very much for your kind input. I will follow up all the leads etc. and suggestions made. It is a tough one - will see the way it goes.

Many thanks once again to you all.
