Does anyone recall a company called Resinart [I think!]

Located in Stoke [I think!], they produced figures, regimental badges/souvenirs and such. Resin used was a very hard resin [almost ceramic].

Wondering what became of them..... or was it all a dream?
Best regards, and thanks in anticipation!
Ian

I think Resin 8 was the name bloke called Martin was in charge, they cast the figures for Roll Call among others and cast very large scale busts etc in resin and then "bronzed" them. They had all sorts of castings at their workshops, I visited them many times. Martin is now into Antiques and decorations I think.
Regards
Pete

If it was Resin 8, they are now in the hands of The Lost Battalion

Currently we have a catalog that consists of well over a hundred older and new kits many of which are in production. These kits were produced by Roll Call, Milimen, Chosen few, Fort Royal Review just to name a few. As we expand our store we will add these kits but if you do not see a kit you are interested in please feel free to take the time to contact us with your questions. We will do our best to aid you in getting the kits you are looking for.
A Very Brief History of TLB

The Lost Battalion was formed in September of 1998 as an importer of historical miniature figurines. A modest line of figures was started in 1999 with complete production being started later that year. Eventually through contacts the Signature Series as well as Terry Worster’s line of figures were purchased.

With that purchase the purpose of the business became mainly the manufacturer of historical miniatures. Through time and a little good fortune the Dream Catcher line was purchased from Belgium. This contained many of the figures from other European lines, such as Milimen, Roll Call, Fort Royal Review, Imperial Gallery, Resin 8 and Oakwood Studios. Although it is a one man business The Lost Battalion continues to produce kits and expand.
