Well back in dear old Glasgow City with at least one casualty "minor wounds albeit "
The wonderful security staff at Edinburgh airport decided to put my figure carry case on its side while going through the scanner , all i can say is that it is an f^^^k^n miracle I did not end up with a pile of scrap metal and having to kill several people .
A testament to the strength of blue tac and a little foresight on my part as i drilled a hole in the centre of the bases of the mounted figures and inserted a dowel in the carry box tray which located in the figure base .
The sideways stress on the pegaso mounted guard proved a bit much and the horse legs need a a bit of a repair . WELL DONE EDINBURGH, you must have know the box belonged to a Wegie

All due sympathies offered Ron.
There's only one thing worse than having a damaged figure when you open up the travel case at home....
Having a broken treasure when you get to the show !!

I'm sure everyone has been the 'victim', of both circumstances.
Doesn't help when it's a numb nuts from G4 that does it.

I am slightly surprised that the three of you aren't inside for bulllion smuggling after bringing so many Gold awards home,
Well done again to all three of you
Paul

paul some additional groundwork and tall grass around the hooves and the repair is almost complete and the groundwork looks better.

trouble with these heavy 75 mounted is I can't seem to get piano wire any longer for pinning and cut down paper clips won't do

I can send you some carbon steel 'stitcher' wire we use at work Mr T.....very strong considering the diameter is just over a mm.....(y)....and ideal for pinning 75's ;)

did the same thing with my 90 mm mounted knight. And after a year he is leaning against the showcase. Two legs are from the horse are broken.
Can't repair it.
Somebody has any idea how to fix it.
