A Fixture
Hey guys. One of my other hobbies is historical re-enacting. (British Navy Gun Crew and Press Gang from HM Sloop of War Falcon). Few weeks ago we had a large event in Charleston South Carolina (Drayton Hall and Magnolia Plantation) commemorating the 225th Anniv. of the Siege of Charleston.
I didn't get to take any photos myself because I was too busy firing cannons, rowing infantry units up the river, and participating as a skirmisher during the engagements, but there were plenty of photos shot of the event and they put them on a website.
I figured it was a good source of reference since it was a larger event and there was alot of attention paid to detail and alot of sacrafices made by some individuals (we had a pretty big uproar from some of the bearded guys about being clean shaven. This period Brit Navy was clean shaven). The guys that participated in this weren't the usual farbys you see at some of the smaller events. Though they may show up here and there, for the most part this is some pretty good documentation.

Figured it would help for reference for someone doing these periods. Infantry, navy, loyalists, loyalist militia, native are all represented. I think there are some pics of the rebels too.
