Historical Note

- Carnyx of Celtic Warrior -

At the battle field, Celtic warriors used their carnyxes as a instrument to bray.
Some carnyxes made a noise with a wooden tongue held by rivets on the lower jaw.
The noise of carnyx set up by Celtic armies helped raise their own level of aggression and intimidated their opponents.

Figure Kit

The kit consists of 9 white metal parts plus 1 resin base and is well cast with minimal seam lines and pre-cleanup required. All parts dry-fit snuggly with no filler required at joints. Once again, a well packed figure between 2 thick pieces of foam in a sturdy cardboard box. Additional color guide with sleeve that slides over the box.

Excellent detail that we have been accustomed to seeing from Mr Serevryakov followed by excellent casting from the Seil Casting Room.

Conclusion

Another excellent figure that I plan to combine with the Celtic Warrior SH 54010 to make a fighting vignette of a Celtic Charge.

Guy, thanks for the review. Celts are great subject matter for a miniature. The carnyx just makes it much more interesting.~Gary

Thanks for the splendid revieuw Guy,

Really like it, and as you said. He is looking good with the last two Celtic figures of Seil.
Looking forward to your rendition of that.
