Hi all!

Just looking back through old Military Illustrated magazines (from when it was really good; issues 1 - 60 approx) and realised how much I enjoyed Rick Scollins artwork, and miss seeing it today (obviously a greatly missed talent).

Other than the in-print Osprey MAA books, does anyone know of any other publications or even online sites that include his work? I find his work truly inspirational and am keen to find more, if available.

Hi Rob, I seem to remember some illustrations in Milmod, will look through my ancient collection (inherited) tonight. How did the show go, got any pics?

Hi Hardy

Yep, there's a few knocking around in milmod (often attached to wargame articles, if memory serves). He was a great artist.

The show was mixed; the public stayed away in droves (poor advertising on my part and shitty weather played their part)
We did have more competion entries than previous years (which just goes to show how important the clubs are); Your Anglian boys and girls walking away with a host of awards.

Also met both Richard and Simon from here! Richard took some photos as did another guy. Graham Dixey may, with persuasion, write an article for a mag with the photos we get; should raise the profile of the show: nothing online yet, though.

But it's over! Phew! Nearly sleeping again!

Our show will be in August, so hopefully the weather will be nice. Although the public are never very interested in our show. Could be the fact its at an old peoples club and the old folks are roaming around the stalls acting confused.....
