Ramon Labayen passed away on 14th February. He was a pioneer of the modern figure modelling, many of us having been introduced into the hobby by his figures.
In his native Basque Country, he was well known to the general public because of his active involment in politics, having been mayor of San Sebastian and 'consejero' (minister) of culture in the Basque Regional Government.
