:ROFLMAO: I wondered who it would be between you and the Chimp who spilled the beans first.
All I can say is it's all credit to you they are great figures and I'm looking forwards to getting to work on them, thank you very much Ian.
You should have seen the wife's face when I told her I couldn't decide so Richie told me to buy them both. :wideyed::D

:cry: Ho are you in the dog house mate lol, just put all the blame on chimp. I'm sure she will love them when they are done. Was a great day and thank you for the kind words.

Cheers mate

Oh, that's right put the blame on the chimp. Ian I do not know where you get your information from.........but he actually purchased THREE round figures. So the final score in is........Rounds 3 - Flats 1:D
The third and final nail in the flats coffin was the chimp.

Three round figures ??? I may have to go and lie down for a while! :eek::eek: . This shock is too much!:wideyed: .. and once recovered. I would have to ask which pieces? .... Then I will have go and lie down again, probably for a more extended period, but this time with some medication.

:wideyed::wideyed: x10

Well sports fans here is the commentary as it happened............Ellie's Miniatures early doors put one passed the flats goalkeeper Roger (I am the flats Newsome) with a round 75mm Franco Prussian war figure. The flats rallied and spurred on by their captain Roger, just before half time, took a great defensive position from the Flats Figure stand and turned defence into attack with an equalising flat......1-1.
Just after half time Roger, unfortunately was locked with the chimp, the chimp forced him towards Ellie's Miniatures for the second time, oh no.....with the aid of a chimps assist Ellie's Miniatures scores a second 75mm Franco Prussian war figure straight into the top corner...............GOAL, 2-1 to the rounds.
Hit hard by the second round figure...........the flats were forced towards 1879 Miniatures:eek:..........just as Roger started to realise what was happening the chimp and 1879 Miniatures with a thundering 75mm 24th Foot figure hit the back of the net....................the ref not wanting to endure anymore humiliation on the flats blew the whistle.

FINAL SCORE.......ROUNDS 3 - flats:sleep:1

Ho yes it was a bit of a one sided game Flats had no chance after half time and with Richie as my wing man it was all over and he gave in and came to the dark side. looking forward to a re-match very soon.

Cheers

I was caught up in the moment and mesmerized by all the nice stuff it that room is my only defence and have no regrets. :p

I just realized that some of you may not know what is (I believe) an American slang term for the street drug, Rohypnol, a sedative that was made in the early 1970s by Roche and was used in hospitals only for deep sedation. Anyways...Roofies.

Thanks for the explanation Dan, I'd never heard of it before. My wife could have used some when I came back in the house yesterday evening with my bag of swag. :LOL:
