I recently ordered several figures from John, of Military Miniatures Warehouse (ordered Sunday.......came in the mail Wednesday) in which La Meridiana's Rogers Ranger was one of them. To my surprise when I opened it it is a sweet little figure loaded with detail and all kinds of diferent scenes he can be incorporated into. The figure came boxed between 2 layers of foam with instructions in Italian and references to books of English text.
The kit is comprised of 10 white metal parts which are cleanly cast and dry-fit was good.
Below you see the lower leg portion of the body with the bottom part of the blanket draped around the figure.
The right arm is seperate and the left arm is attached.
Below are the accessories with a beautifully sculpted musket / rifle
Another feature that caught my eye was 2 seperate snow shoes that attach to the back of the Ranger.
Close-up of the beadwork detail on the front.
Conclusion: Excellent figure that I am sure we will see on the show tables. I hope La Meridiana comes out with some accessory packs that include the snow shoes and their rifles.
