Nice work on a nice figure.

May I ask what´s going on at the bottom of that shield? Is it muddied, mouldy, stained by soaking or painted as grass tussocks that way?

Rocco, I have to agree with Spike. I noticed that after my post. Is that weathering/mud on the base of the sheild? Looks like it may need some "blending".

Hi Spike, thanks for looking and I'm glad you like the figure.

The mud on the bottom of the shield as you and jay pointed out still needs to be blended. When completely dry I will give it several controlled washes of Raw Umber. Thanks for pointing it out.

Jusy my personal feeling, Roc, but I think your mud follows the shape of the shield too much.

Still like this a lot though and find your work inspiring.
