Might have to pick this one up. It's in a completely different league to the few other Retiarius figures that are currently available.

Very nice, definitely the best retiarius I've seen. This would pair very nicely with some of the Pegaso 75mm gladiators.

I'm not sure how I feel about the headband, though. Maybe there's some art or something to back it up... but it looks out of place to me. Anyone know of any examples to support its historical accuracy?

Hardly original... Just a inch for inch copy of McBride's drawing albeit beautifully sculpted. In my opinion, missing a net on the end of that rope - would be a nice touch, at the moment looks like he lost his doggie and is a bit aggrieved:(;)

Not sure about hairband - havent seen any depicted on roman and other sources and I did look through quite a few when researched retiarius myself.
McBride used to add quite a bit with artistic license so...
Galerus, for example, is a variation on the theme of existing one with Heracles and Cupids etc etc

Not a fan of the face and the thigh/knee area could do with a bit of work, but it makes a good base to work from so might have to pick up one of these as a companion piece to the Pegaso secutor.

Rather nice retiarius, but the leg/knees look dodgy to me. A little undefined.

And In my opinion the net should really be added, if only a hint of it, as it is the defining item of the retiarius. And I suggest to extend the rope. Like this it will slip right out at the next throw.

Well, nice anyway.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed.

I can't get over how many good sculptors can't seem to get the quads right, they're really not that complicated. As for the knees there's no excuse, they're much simpler; I think it basically comes down to CBA syndrome, not like there's any shortage of reference material available!
