Completed Roman Tribun, Young Miniatures

Hi
This bust was completed last year.
The casting on this bust is really superb, as usual!
I used Tamiya Acrylics for basecoat and Vallejos for the paintjob.

Looks well.
Perhaps a oil pin wash on the gold bits.
A touch of Tamiya X21 in the red would have killed the slight sheen.

Great work, but i think you should add shadows on the gold parts.

the face looks good, and i'm with housecarl on the gold. i'm also curious why tamiya for base and vallejo for top coat.

Excellent paint job;..I agree with the above regarding the wash or highlights on the gold to bring out the details.

yes, the light glossy shining on the red cape is bit strange. The basecoat i used was really flat and i added not less than 6 layers of flat varnish!

there is already a pin wash on the gold. I think, i will fix this by more, or a darker washings.
