Two great releases from Romeo, particularly like the Union Sergeant.
Is it just me or is there a surge of seated figures lately?

Yay another with a horse.

But what is up with the horse's eyes and ears? His eyes are huge and placed too far forward on his head. His ears aren't placed correctly and the angle is also too far forward. There are other problems as well and are more than just conformation flaws. Conformation flaws I can live with and are totally accurate to the piece and the time period. But the basic bio-mechanics are off.

The officer and equipment and tack are gorgeous. Unfortunately the horse, who plays a central roll of the sculpture, has too many issues for me. :(

Great info and observations Karrie :)

We're pleased to have you on board and would really like to learn more from an equestrian aficionado!

I would, and I'm sure others would really like to hear more about correcting inaccuracies and other common mistakes with horses.

Cheers!
