I think, the "Bishop Warrior" is the Bishop of Dorpat, Hermann I. of Buxthoeven, the leader of the Catholics at the Battle of Lake Peipus on 5 April 1242. The bishop bears the coat of arms with the key of Bremen, for he was previously (up to 1220) abbot of the St. Paul monastery (it no longer exists) in my hometown, Bremen.

Cheers

The Dupas figure is on the must have list, but the headress looks oversized to my eyes. What do you think? It looks like a full size shako under the turban, which may have been used later in the empire, but not I think, so early. Anyone have any pictures of the original item? Great post Luis.
