Alot of beadwork to paint on this one Al. Take your time. There's always next year for MFCA.

The beadwork is pretty much done. I have to do the edging on the breechclout and shading and highlighting all around. I also have to do the mocassins.

When I first got the figure, the lance was bent at the top and self destructed in the attempt to repair it. While Luca Marchetti was quite willing to replace it, I still felt a white metal piece of this nature would be too fragile. I bent a brass rod to match the curve and length. I then cut away the hand and decorations and drilled them out to fit the rod. The rod was wrapped in fine brass wire to simulated the leather. This will be a much more durable piece than the kit provides. I also added a blade to the bottom.

Hmm, Paul, maybe if I wasn't driving and if there were none of the world famous hospitality

rooms, I'd take up that challenge.
