Rommels Coat Colour In 1940 Race For The Meuse

Hi All,
I'm repainting a bust of Rommel as he would have been in 1940 I'm having trouble confirming what colour it would have been.
The bust has him wearing a coat but is shown as painted as 1944 (black leather)
I'm wanting to show him as a Commander of the 7th Pzr Div in it's race to the Meuse.
I'm stuck as to the right colors.... can you help?

This is a photo of a later period, as Rommel was already Field Marshal (look at the insignia!).
