Have to start somewhere and thats with a Primer, Sprayed from a rattle can of Tamiya fine grey primer

Sprayed the base colour on and painted in a few highlights/ shadows, outlined the main pieces of the uniform and started blocking in some of the other bits, some tidying up to do, before adding the 1st bits of the MARPAT scheme

Pulled up a seat. Really interested in how you will tackle the camo Steve and looking forward to your progress.

1st phase completed, camelbak tube and handset cord built from various grades of wire. Next is the dog, to be painted in oils

Looking good, Steve. That camo pattern doesn't look like a picknick to me, but you got it handled.

once you get the idea of precisely copying the pattern out of your head its not to bad, random single, double lines and dots in some sort of repeat.


That drumstick he's holding looks a bit too small for a dog's leg. Was it a Chihuahua? :playful:

Lol - apparently its a turkey drumstick.
