Here are some pics of the Russian sailor in landing rig sculpted by Dan Morton and painted by myself.
Thank you Dan for letting me paint it, it will be in the post soon.

Thanks, guys! Roger did a first class job, didn't he? The varying shades of blue and the uniform and facial shading are just excellent! I'm eager to see the figure "in the flesh"! The seagull and its' 'contributions' look very authentic!

Thanks again, Roger! Try to stay dry when you're out there taking those 'pleasure cruises' on the North Sea!

FYI - I also look forward to your painting of the Jon Smith WWI tanker. How about getting a vBench set-up, Rog?

All the best,
Dan

Cheers Dan, you should receive the figure soon I hope.
I knew studying bird mess during my "pleasure cruises" would pay off one day
How about sculpting me a Turkish soldier c.1915? Has that been done before by anyone? Only joking Dan.
Keep up the good work,

Roger.

Cheers Dave,
I must admit I did find it a challange. My efforts over the past few years have all been khaki or field grey/ grey-green. You know the usual WW1 colours :) I now fancy having a go at The Fusiliers Belgian subjects and some of the more colourful French soldiers.

Roger.
