I take more of your attention, to send pictures from a job a couple of years ago. This is a Russian soldier of the Crimean War. The figure was sculpted by Michael Folli.

Very nicely painted and sculpted...what a confident looking fellow he is! bags of personality in the sculpt...is it a commercially available piece?

Keith

thanks for the compliments, Keith. It is not in production. It 's a single original piece.
Regards Fabrizio

Hola Fabricio:

Very nice work. I've read several books on the Crimean War. . . the Charge
of the Light Brigade, et cetera. What a horrible waste of human life. Long
before any real planning for how to deal with the wounded. . .

A lovely presentation, young man,

This work has been done specifically for an exhibition organized by the "CONDUCT" Florence on the Crimean War. In this exhibition, many pieces were exposed for this period. Representatives from all participating nations (France, Turkey, England, Kingdom of Sardinia and Russia). Thanks for appreciation. Sincerely, Fabrizio
