Sabrage /səˈbrɑːʒ/ is a technique for opening a champagne bottle with a saber,used for ceremonial occasions.

The FT-17 French tank “Le Champagne” is taken out by German defenders with an anti tank rifle during the second battle of the Marne in 1918, also called the fourth battle of Champagne.
