Sculpted by Sergey Zlobov

Pipe 01.jpg

Recently Sergey Zlobov, owner of AuthorSculpt Miniatures released two 75mm Native American figures. The first I will review is the "Sacred Pipe" depicting a Native American holding up the Sacred Pipe in prayer to the sky. Cast in 9 gray resin parts.

Arriving in Sergey's traditional sturdy brown cardboard box with all the parts to the kit sandwiched between two layers of foam with the parts sealed inside a plastic zip-lok bag.

Above you see the separate casting block with the decorative feathers for the pipe, the pipe itself as well as the head feathers and decoration that fits into a locater hole at the back of the head. One feather was loose in the bag upon arrival.

Above are several photographs from AuthorSculpt showing the assembled figure and skull fastened to the base.

Conclusion:
An exceptional kit depicting a Native American Indian. Some slight seam lines need to be removed as well as casting blocks from the arms. Highly recommended.

Not really my main interest but since I just started painting my first indian and am having a magnificent time painting him I may have to give this one a try. Also, the 75mm scale is now my favorite. Excellent review Guy.
