Historical Note:
- About the Kamikaze, 13th Century A.D -
In 1274 and in 1281, The Korea-Mogol Allied Forces carried out the military expeditions against the Japan that Kamakura-Bakufu had ruled over. In these two military expeditions, 900 battleships and 25,000 soldiers, 900 battleships and 140,000 soldiers were mobilized each other.
In the first military expedition(1274), Allied Forces who landed in Hakada Bay in Kyushu, they broke the line of defense of Japan, and swept over the whole neighborhood of Kyushu. But according to the resistances of japanese Samurais are obstinate more and more as time goes by, The Allied Forces chose the tactics to pass the nights in the their battleships, against the night surprise attacks of the enemy. However this was their fatal blunder. The Allied Forces suffered an enormous damages to loss the battleships and forces over half numbers during only one night by an unexpected strong wind(maybe Typhoon). And finally they had to withdraw their troops.
After 7 years, the second expedition(1281) was carried out. The Korea-Mogol Allied Forces departed for Hakada Bay again, but they had to fall back again in due to a sudden gale same as the previous time, not even to land in Japan.
Accidentally, all two expeditions ended in the failures in cause to the unexpected gales. On the other hand, the japanese of those days called this helpful wind 'Kamikaze'(wind of god), which saved them. And this word 'Kamikaze' had been on japanese's lips again at that time of WWII.

This figure is the result of an international collaboration of 2 excellent sculpters. Kim Dong Uk and Sergey Zloboz. The figure comes in an oversized sturdy black box with layers of foam sandwiching the parts for protection during shipping. The kit is comprised of 81 white metal parts, 1 resin base and 6 brass etched parts. It also comes with 2 steel rods (for arrow shafts) as well as thread for the bow and armor.
As this is such an involved kit I will do it in 2 parts. The figure first followed by the horse and try to give you an overall picture of the parts that will comprise this excellent sculpting.
