Hi all.
NutsPlanet magnificent bust. Many hours of painting. Highly recommended.
I hope you like it. Painted in Acrylics.

Lovely colourful subject and beautifully painted, I use oils when painting and I never achieve the actual colours that I have in mind, even if they look correct just after a painting session they change shade once they have dried so my chosen era is Ancient/Medieval because I can get away with the colours not having to be exact, this is why I tend to shy away from Napoleonics and modern subjects. I have developed a mindset that I will only spent so much time on each section of a figure and try and get it to where I want it but then I will move on to the next part until the figure has been completed to a level that I am happy with and try to put the dodgy bits out of my head with the attitude that I have learned that there is probably a better way to approach painting certain items and I will try these on the next figure.
All I can say is that if I had painted this Bust I would be well pleased as its a tidy example of artwork.
