Hi Guys,

Some pics of my latest sculpt, based on some odds and ends from Verlinden in the spares box. Originally, this was to be more of a conversion, but it has ended up as a virtual resculpt, with only the neck of the original visible! Based on the pic in the Osprey Alamo book.

This is a one off for a customer, scale 120mm done using my usual Duro and Milliput. Shoulder belt buckle is a thin sliver of plastic tube, caplines are solder wire, impressed to depict plaiting. Buttons are plastic rod drilled, fitted, then sanded down to size.

Thanks for looking,

Steve(y)

Oh great, but it does niggle away at you a bit that there may have been doesn't it.

I just hope no-one pipes up with one when you post it as completed.

Keep up the great work mate,
I do like this period of 'almost napoleonic'
Figures.

Paul.

Yeh, it does! Roger pointed me in the direction of the San Jacinto Museum and I emailed them - it would appear that there is no record of there being a patch and my other sources certainly dont mention it and I cant find any pics - so read into that what you will...!!(y)
