Hi all

TFB Miniatures are pleased to announce the new bust.

Its the bust version of the Saving the Innocent Crimea 1854 .

It’s been sculpted by our good friend Eduard Delgado.

The bust like the figure could fit into any second empire war from the Italian wars of unification to the Franco Prussian War the you can choose.

The scale is 1/12 and will be up for pre order from the TFB Miniatures Website on www.tfbminiatures.co.uk

We will be shipping mid feb . Again thank you for your on going support .

it's always beautiful what you see here ,a very nice bust with the child on his arms, nice (y)

Mario

Thanks Mario, happy you like it.

AJLaFleche, yes your right, but the point of the sculpt was a meant as a tribute to Ian’s Granddaughter who the little girl is based on. It was about the bond between himself and his granddaughter who thinks the world of him. And so he came to the team with some art work and his idea for a memento to the bond between them. And we all think it works out very well indeed. Eduard captures the bond so well.

But that’s the story behind the release it’s not political it’s just a touching thought provoking piece. But as you say take away the uniform and it could be any war any time. But this time it’s set during the French second Empire,

It will paint up into a very nice Bust and figure. Looking forwards to seeing different interpretations of it. But I know a grandfather and granddaughter who will cherish the piece in the knowledge that it was something they share and it’s now going to be i mortised in resin for her children in the future.

I wish I had come up with the idea as both me and the team think it’s a great idea, and if the modelling world like it too then itsjob very well done indeed.
