I am pleased to inform you that Scale Model Handbook 12, Figure Modelling 12 IS OUT! I hope that you like it!

Welcome to the 12th edition in the Scale Model Handbook Series, dedicated to modelling miniature figures, where we offer the excellent work of Myeong-ha Hwang, Sergey Popovichenko, Ernesto Reyes Stalhuth, Carl Startin, “Carlos Figureart” and Alex Varela “Iguazzu”. This edition features a variety of themes and techniques - painting different textures, fabrics and metals, using oil and enamel colours as painting mediums.

Three large-scale busts are featured; one a Second World War subject, a 120mm sculpted by Mike Blank and a fantasy depicting John Snow from “Night’s Watch” painted by the talented Korean artist Myeong-ha Hwang and appearing for the first time in a Mr Black Publications’ edition!

We would like to offer our gratitude to Pietro Balloni and Luca Marchetti of Pegaso Models, Alex Vallejo from Acrylicos Vallejo, Darren Parker-Mead from Tommy’s War, and all of our contributors for providing us with examples of their awesome work, and not least to Ken Jones for his valuable help with editing the text!

So why to take the money in front if I will not offer something in exchange? The Scale model Handbook Series are definetely books that have just regular circulation and they are not magazines!

The first book orders are on the way now!! Thank you to all.

Xavier, thank you for your kind words. The Diorama Modelling 2 is preparing and when we have all the contents done we will print it. As you have seen it is a huge project as the gathering and correcting the material needs a lot of time. But I can assure you that this will be even better…from No1.

Kevin, thank you for the kind words and the support all these years we have the company. We live in a very difficult time and every order is vital. I have heard your inquiries for most bust!!! But as you can see more and more producers release awesome busts….So I have to follow the market. Perhaps our audience getting older and need bigger scale models…so can see the details better. Personally I found easier for my eyes the bust painting.
