Another recent project just finished is this 75mm ammonite from Scientificmodels. While not a figure, it turned out too nice not to share. Everything was brush painted with Vallejo primers, paints, inks and pigment for the sand.

The base was made from coarse foam, plaster, pewter sheet for the kelp, twisted wire and scatter for the coral.

Nice one Kimmo
(I have to admit I thought Ammonite? Really or is it a pun? . . . . and it really is an ammonite (Find loads of them around here on the Jurrasic coastline):)

Cheers
Paul

great, you made a wonderful job dude.....you painted one of the best ever done....you need to try with Hallucigenia...

Cheers Mobo, Paul, Matt and gp!

Paul, fortunately I have weird friends who pay me to have fun sometimes, this one would love a real fossil but thinks they all belong in museums so this is as close as they could get.

gp, that would certainly be a challenge. And thanks for the kind words.
