Scots Grey Q

Good morning all.
Just starting the facings/braid on a trooper Scots Grey bust.
Was the trim gold lace or a yellow wool facing?
I can't imagine they would have had troopers in gold braid.
Any help would be great.

Yes as jon has advised yellow.

The lace was yellow worsted and may or may not have had a blue light the regulations call for a blue light but Deighton in his painting of the capture of the eagle shows it as red You pays your money and takes your choice
