And this is my second finished painted figure. Fantastic cast and quality by Life Miniatures, inspired by the awesome movie "Das Boot" (best submarines movie ever!).

I hope you guys like it and please leave your comments and criticism.

Hi Jorge

I would happily have that in my display cabinet ...looks great

How are you doing the whites , do like the result

Interested in your flesh mixes as well

Nice work on the shirt checking

Eyes look good

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our AUGUST's FOTM comp and also vote in JULY classes as well

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 running till 31/01/22 ...msg me if needed

Always good to see the artwork

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next

Happy benchtime

Hello Nap,

Thank you for looking and commenting. I appreciate your help and I'm glad you liked it.

I'm painting with the new line of dense acrylics by Abteilung 502, and is the same for the white which I've blended it a bit with their Light flesh tone. I'm using a wet palette by the way.

For the skin I've used a combination of colours : Light flesh, Basic Flesh tone, Tanned Flesh tone, Reddish Black and for the very dark areas a bit of Burnt Umber.

cheers

Jorge

Great job. I love the eyes. The grey coat is fantastic. The color is 100% accurate. I do not paint figures of WWII but you did a fine job on a great bust.

Thank you very much Sven! I'm glad you liked it.
Yeah, the jacket was an interesting exercise. Maybe the fact that I didn't have any greys and therefore I was force to mix colours make me realised all the different subtleties, definitely not just grey! . There's off course a bit of white and black for the base and some Cyan, Violet, and Green as well.

cheers

Jorge
