Did there used to be a google search bar to search for posts? I sometimes find the box where you have to type in the two displayed words a little difficult to figure out, and you have to do it every time you start a search even when you just did one a few seconds earlier. I thought it used to be easier. If it was changed for security reasons like spammers and the like fair enough, but I found the old google bar so much more user friendly. Is it possible to bring it back?

Cheers,
Andrew.

OK I must be going nuts I just tried a search again and didn't have the box that popped up asking to type in the two words shown. Never mind the previous post chalk it up to me having a 1D10t error

There did used to be a google search bar. I took it off since it appears just me and you were using it ;)

It slowed down the page load times so I removed it all together :)

Ah fair enough, and I figured out the box where you have to type the two words as shown only appears when I'm not logged in and viewing as a visitor. Thought I was going nuts for a minute...well even more nuts, I mean I ty to paint little tiny eyeballs on tiny little figures right!!:D

LOL!
The google search was nice and handy , but caused the forum pages to load slowly :|

Also looking at the stats for how many people that used it were extremely low ;)
