Hi there,
I scrapped the last figure and started a new one, with a better pose (I think anyway :))

I'm getting him dressed soon in somekind of suitable clothing.

I hope you like it so far, and please if you have any points of view or suggestions don't hesitate to leave them...

Thanks,
Kris :)

Kris, I like this guy OK I guess. I think it is a much safer pose than the last attempt. I suspect a good chioce for only the second go-round.

I hope you don't mind me saying though, I really liked the first guy a lot better! I liked the pose, the idea of the "action" implied by him etc. much more. I didn't think you had that bad a start on him. Standing figures are a dime a dozen. Your fist guy was not only unique, but specific to your model, which is my preference.

Keep us posted, I think you have a good start here.

Good start on the second figure! I agree with Jay that the pose is less interesting on this one, but it's not bad either. And having only sculpted a few figures myself, I can understand how you can kind of paint yourself into a corner with a pose, get an armature wrong, etc. On this one, the legs may be just a little thick at the thighs. Once you start putting on even very thin layers of "clothing" you may not have enough "room". I would sand or scrape the thighs and lower legs thinner and thin the area around the wrists also before applying more putty for clothing.

All the best!

Thanks Jay and Dan for your response, I appreciate every hint and suggestion I can get...
I think with the last pose I didn't really get the figure to "fit" so good on the dozer, but we'll see what happens, maybe I'll give it another shot.

Thanks again,
Kris
