Hi,
I finally finished my second figure. He's a Roman Decurion, painted with a mixture of Acrylic and enamels, using Tamiya gun metal for the chain mail. I painted this one differently to the first and tried to take on board some of the very helpful comments I was given on my first figure.

I have to say I really enjoyed this one, and am really enjoying trying to master a new discipline.

Apologies for the quality of the photo's - I did my best with them.

Regards

TJ

You are very precise in your painting. Clean work and a presentable result.

For the next one I'd suggest to go bolder on the contrast, particularly on the skin. Getting nice transitions is a challenge, but once you master that the sky is the limit!

Cool work on the decal. You can print white??

Cheers,
Adrian

I'd say you are definitely on the right track. I second what Adrian says about pushing the contrast. Also the eyes need a bit of work, these are a bit too large and "staring". But great work for only your second figure. And as others have commented, the shield design is tremendous. (y)
