It's a nice piece but at 75mm I am wondering how that horse will hold that pose if it's metal ... when it become a habit that horses will get a peg in the casting process [both legs]! Hope it will not end on deaf ears as I had terrible experiences on such designs and they always put me off!

Hello,

the figurine of Seil makes a very good impression and it looks correct, especially saom parts like bowcase and quiver, shield, sash and so on.

Only the horse seemd to be alittle big for a mustang, perhapes a captured horse from a white man.

A famous Lakota chief got his name because he captured so many white mens horses "Tashunka Watshitshu" "White mens horse", in all historical books wrong tranlated as "American Horse"

But neverless, teh figurine is very very good!!!

The only thing I m not happy with is the name "Sioux warrior", which would be the same as someone produces a "english speaking warrior".

Actually it is a LAKOTA WARRIOR.

Best regards from Germany

Bruno

Many thanks friends and colleagues for your responses about my work!
- Chevalier de Malte - experts "Seil" have decided to insert steel a wire into back legs of a horse for strengthening. At work I have as much as possible facilitated all case of a horse together with a neck for simplification of a figure.
- Bruno - thanks for your opinion, I completely with you agree. At work picture Bev Doolitle ("War Eagle"), and also some pictures Frank McCarthney and Howard Terpning has initially been used. Therefore I did not put accent on "lakota", and have united in the general "sioux".

Still time of thanks dear.
