That's a lovely sculpt with great details to add to the range of MF 75mm gladiators; all of which I already have.

Looking at the helmet though, are the eye holes a bit large or is this helmet based upon an actual one found as those found by archaeologists from antiquity that I have seen, all appear to have (much) smaller eye holes? I ask the question as these size holes would appear to defeat the object of allowing vison but without the opponent's trident being able to easily penetrate the eye holes and strike the Secutor's eyes/face..?

Nice fig....

Wasn't part of the idea of small eye holes to handicap the armoured fighter?

That was my understanding too and the small holes restricted peripheral vision. I'm a bit surprised Mediaeval Forge haven't responded to the question and personally, I suspect the figure's helmet is modelled on one used by a modern re-enactor rather than an original. I must emphasise, that's my own opinion only and I am happy to stand corrected if someone can produce evidence of one like this relative to the Roman period.

Another great looking figure of this gladiator series..Is there any plan of producing them in the 54mm scale?

Another good gladiatorial release , nice details as always

Looks good singularly and with a opponent even better

Great set of figures all together

Thanks for sharing

Looks like an early version of the Cybermen from Doctor Who. A nice addition to the group.
