Hi - a couple of weeks ago I provided a link to a large number of figures I was selling on eBay. These have all gone, but one deadbeat refused to pay. I therefore have 8 figures I need to sell. Below are the items, and the price. I will provide free recorded postage to UK customers! Overseas please let me know and I will give you a postage quote. I'll combine shipping for multiple buys. Photos are of course available on request.
The eBay buyer has until tomorrow 4pm to pay...but it looks very unlikely that he will. If you are interested please let me know which figure(s) you want and we can go from there.
thanks!
Rich

Sorry you have had a problem on Ebay Richard, several of us were having problems with one Eastern European guy bidding and then hiding away without paying about a year ago. (does the name have a lot of vowels in it?) If he doesn't pay up it might be useful to share the name with us so that we can all block future bids.

Very annoying when people do that, all the more so now that as a seller on eBay, you can't leave negative feedback for deadbeats.

Bloody irritating to the tune of 400 quid!

The guy is called Denis Veremenko, from deepest darkest Russia

username veric1denis

I gave him every chance to pay. I even translated all my messages into Russian for him.. No dice!

What name does he trade under..........I've just been asked to open up bidding to Russia by a guy..........so far I haven't done it. I usually block all of the old Iron Curtain countries unless it is some one I know who writes to me and asks for bidding to be opened. It really is a shame because the majority of them are really honest modellers.

Would appreciate the name before I make a big mistake

Claude

always open a NPB case against people like this as it does much more damage than negative feedback. He's got 8 strikes against his name from me already, so I would have thought that eBay will suspend his account soon

yeah me too. I won't sell to anyone registered in mainland China. Shame really as it's a vast market, but I can never be sure that my items won't just be copied / faked. That's just the way it is over there - 25% of ALL goods leaving China are fake

Sorry to contradict you, but China is not the worst country for counterfeiting.
My Chinese colleagues customs, trying to fight against counterfeiting, it affects the brand image of their country.
In terms of the figure, look at Ebay, the majority of fakes now come from Eastern European countries.
And the same goes for many other products (medicines, technology).
We are not wary enough with some countries, especially if the country belongs to the EU
