Hi guys,

Just some pics of my latest 1/10 scale bust depicting a Sepoy, 61st BNI, 1857.
Sculpted in Miliput, with details in Duro. Apologies for the Blutack holding it all together!

Left hand is separated at the cuff, to hide the join. Enfield/Brunswick musket made from plasic rod, brass tube and Duro.

I hope you like it and thanks for looking in!

Hi Steve ,

Very nice indeed , like the face on this ...based on an Osprey illustration perhaps?

The detailing looks spot on , nice subject and a popular period as well

Will look great when painted up ...I presume its for release ...soon ...oh look whats coming up Euro !!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing

Many thanks guys - its been a long time in the making, as many other pieces overtook it, but I finally found the impetus to finish it!
Nap - loosely based on Osprey illustrations from the Indian Mutiny book - useful as colour references!
Geoff and Grod - thanks for taking the time to comment, guys!

Hi Steve,
Its looking good, the only thing is that L hand needs to be bigger. Its very thin in the wrist, got very thick sleeve around it and looks too small at the moment.

few other minor things - shouldn't left sleeve have a seam line at the shoudler?

Otherwise good job, should be very easy to fix.

Very nice. I am not a fan of the musket projecting down so far. I would cut it off higher but that is personal taste.

Hi Guys,

If anyone is interested, I shall have a (very) small number of these busts with me at Crewe at the weekend, £30 ea. Come and find me at the Meir Model Club stand, I shall be there from about 8.00am!!

Alternatively, PM me here, if you're not able to make the show.

cheers,

Steve(y)
