Hi guys,

Have finally got round to finishing this - well, almost! just needs the addition of the metallics on the buttons and buckle.
Converted from the injection moulded Miniart French Guardsman, 17th C. (see previous posts)
Painted in enamels, the sheen on the jacket is nowhere near as noticable on the real thing, but Im no photographer!
Metallics on the sword and spontoon are Humbrol Metal Cote. Base will recieve a nameplate, in due course.
This has been a thoroughly enjoyable diversion from my usual stuff - so much so, that if anyone has a Miniart Netherlands Musketeer, 17th C kit they no longer want, I can give it a good home!!

Thanks for looking,

Steve(y)

Great work Steve,
Brilliant conversion very nicely presented. Seeing this from the ground up, as it were, is a good inspiration to have a go at a complex piece like this.
Well done Mate.
Cheers,
Keith
