Hi Guys,

Well here he is at last: the finished Sergeant Templar knight. It's a 70mm white metal casting by Andrea and painted entirely in acrylics. The "dust" effect was created by using Mig pigment powders. the base is from DMC design in Germany.

I'm looking forward to all your comments, and all hints and tips on how to improve for the next figure are very welcome.

Many thanks in advance.

Greetz,

Gino

Gino-

Looks great. I think this is the best acrylic face that I have seen from you, IMO.

Yours is the second figure in two days that I have seen with MIG pigments for the dust effect and I must say it convinces me to give them a try. Very effective!

Hey Gino!

Thats looking great. The face is great, and the sheild is super. If you really want my honest opinion I think that the blue is to bright for the rest of the figure. Its aweseomly painted though. just that the color really pops out at ya, if you know what I mean?

Whats next on the bench?

Looks very good Gino!

Shield looks great! As does the weathering.

On the subject of MIG pigments, Keith, I have a figure where I used then:

Hi guys,

first of all I would like to thank all of you for the nice comments. It's really appreciated.

Anders, I chose the blue because it would make look the black even blacker. By 1250 these "soldiers" have had some contact with the Muslim world and started to mix clothing. The bright garment is supposed to be of Muslim origin.

Next one to be finished will be a big scale bust of a German paratrooper WWII, a Britton Warrior by Pegaso and a Waffen SS Panzergrenadier bust by Harton. Pics will follow soon.

Greetz,

Gino
