Hi again,

this time some in progress pics of an Andrea 70mm white metal kit. It's painted entirely in acrylics, except for the helmet. The helmet I buffed to a nice shine. The place about tree coats of Gunze's smoke. Highlighting was done with Vallejo's super silver, shading with black.

Looking nice. How did you apply the smoke? Airbrush or brush? I would also be interested in how you paint black.

Hi Joe,

i aplied the smoke with a brush. I diluted it with terpentine, letting each coat dry before aplying the other. I will write my colours down on how I paint black this time. That's the fun thing about black: you can give it almost any tint and still have black. I go for a purple tint this time. I haven't tried this before, so please keep your fingers crossed.
